Answers to frequently asked questions
- Electrical socket/earth leakage switch :
Check that the electrical socket you are using works by plugging another electrical appliance into the socket.
Check that the earth leakage switch has not tripped.
- The plug is not correctly connected to the socket:
Disconnect the power supply for 30 seconds and then reconnect the power supply.
- No or insufficient power transmitted to the robot:
Check all the connections from the robot to the power supply.
- An object is blocking the rollers or one of the robot's wheels:
Disconnect the power supply and remove the robot from the water.
Open the robot to inspect it.
Check that there are no foreign objects in the turbines.
Check that there are no foreign objects blocking the green rollers on the underside of the appliance.
An object is blocking the robot rollers or one of the wheels: Unplug the power supply and remove the robot from the water. Open the robot to inspect the inside. Check that there are no foreign objects in the turbine or blocking the rollers.
- The bag is blocked or full: Clean the filter bag
- An object is stuck in the turbine or one of the valves: Check that the filter bag frame is correctly inserted.
- The robot moves too fast: Set the speed control knob to a lower setting to reduce the speed at which the appliance moves.
- Use a disposable fine filtration kit if you have very fine impurities (contact your dealer).
The power supply is not working properly: Check all the cable connections from the robot to the power source.
- The pump motor is too old, the motor parts are worn: Contact 8streme via www.8streme.com to obtain replacement parts (if you live in Europe, go to 8streme.eu).
- Control circuit malfunction: Stop the robot immediately and contact the shop where you purchased your robot.

- The robot is not connected to a power source or the power supply is off:
Check that the power source is active by plugging another appliance into the power socket.
- Check that the float with the swivel is the right way round (blue end of the cable to the blue inlet of the float | blue end of the cable to the blue inlet of the float).
- Check the connections on the appliance, especially the float with the swivel.
- Check that the power supply is switched on.
No or insufficient power transmitted to the robot or an object blocks the rollers, the path or the wheels of the robot:
- Disconnect the power supply and remove the robot from the water.
- Open the basket lid and remove the basket.
- Check that there are no foreign objects in the turbine above the motor.
- Check that there are no foreign objects blocking the hydraulic circuit or the brushes and belts under the robot and on its sides.
The robot is not connected to a power source or the power supply is off:
- Check that the power source is active by plugging another appliance into the power socket.
- Check that the power supply is switched on.
- Check all the connections from the robot to the power source.
- The basket is blocked/full: Clean the basket and its filter panels. Clean the fine filter if you are using this accessory. Check that the basket is correctly inserted.
-An object is stuck in the turbine or the grille above the turbine: Check that there are no foreign objects in the turbine or stuck in the grille above the turbine.
Not enough or too much cable floating in the pool: Make sure that the length of cable floating in the pool is just the right amount. Remove any excess cable from the pool and leave it outside the pool next to the power box.
Place the robot in the centre of the pool. If your pool is oval or rectangular, this point corresponds to half the length.
- Check that the float with the swivel is the right way round (blue end of the cable to the blue inlet of the float | blue end of the cable to the blue inlet of the float).
- Check the connections on the appliance, especially the float with the swivel.
