Starting up my 8STREME ROBOT SWIMMING POOL

Routine checks

1/ Check the compatibility of the 8STREME POOL ROBOT with your pool

Please check that your 8STREME ROBOT POOL is compatible with your model, type and lining of swimming pool.

Please note that our 8STREME POOL ROBOTS do not climb stairs.

2/ Check your pool water treatment

Incorrect water treatment can affect the operation of your 8STREME ROBOT POOL.

Check that your water is at the right temperature. This should be between 5 and 36°C.

We recommend that you check that your pH is at the right level. The optimum pH is between 7.2 and 7.4.

If you have a chlorine pool, the optimum chlorine content is between 2 and 3 ppm.

If you have a salt pool, the NaCI content should be between 2700 and 4500 ppm.

We invite you to check that there is no algae (green or transparent) in your pool. Our 8STREME POOL ROBOTS are designed to make pool maintenance easier. However, they are not designed to clean algae. Please treat your pool before using the 8STREME ROBOT POOL CLEANER.

Check that there are no greasy deposits on the walls. If so, use a hand brush to remove them.

2/ Check safety instructions

There are a few safety instructions to follow.

Check that your electrical installation is protected by a 30ma differential switch. We recommend that you do not connect the transformer to an extension lead.

Place the transformer at least 3.5 m from the pool. It must be protected from moisture.

Do not use damaged cables or cords. If cords or cables are damaged, have them replaced immediately to avoid any risk.

The 8STREME ROBOT SWIMMING POOL must not be left within the reach of unsupervised children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lacking experience or knowledge.

Do not use the 8STREME ROBOT SWIMMING POOL if people are inside the pool. Do not use it if you have a counter-current swimming apparatus in operation.

When not in use, the ROBOT POOL 8STREME must be removed from the pool. The ROBOT POOL 8STREME must not be used out of the water.

If you need to work on the ROBOT PSICINE 8STREME, make sure the transformer is disconnected.

Getting started

1/ Checking the power supply and electrical connection

To start up your 8STREME ROBOT SWIMMING POOL, first connect all the parts of the 8STREME ROBOT SWIMMING POOL correctly.

To do this, unscrew the transformer cap next to the switch and insert the end of the floating cable into the socket and screw the floating cable nut firmly to the transformer.

Then insert the end of the floating cable coming from the transformer into the black socket marked "POWER". Pay attention to the direction of the cable connections. Then slide the cap so that it touches the float socket, and tighten the nut by hand.

Repeat the operation on the blue side marked "POOL ROBOT" with the cable coming from the robot.

Position the transformer at a midpoint between the two ends of your pool and at least 3.50 m from the edge of the pool.

2/ Immersion of the 8STREME POOL ROBOT in the pool

If you want to use the fine filter, remove the plastic packaging and insert the fine filter directly into the filter basket of your ROBOT PISCINE 8STREME.

If you don't want to use the fine filter, leave the filter basket empty.

Place your 8STREME POOL ROBOT in your pool as far away as possible from the power source and wait until it is completely submerged. If necessary, help it to sink manually. This will ensure that you have the appropriate length of cable needed for your 8STREME POOL ROBOT to clean your entire pool.

Limit the length of cable in the pool to what is strictly necessary, and leave the excess outside the pool.

3/ Starting up the 8STREME POOL ROBOT

For the ROBOT PISCINE 8STREME 5200-J2X, plug the transformer into the wall socket and the blue light will come on, indicating that the robot is activated. At the end of the cleaning cycle, the robot will stop automatically.

For the 8STREME 5210-J200, 8STREME 5212 SWIMMING POOL ROBOT, plug the transformer into the wall socket and the blue light on the float will come on. Then press the black button in the centre of the float and the red light will come on, indicating the start of the cleaning cycle. At the end of the cleaning cycle, the red light will go out.

For the ROBOT PISCINE 8STREME 5220-LUNA 10, 8STREME 5222, plug the transformer into the wall socket and the blue light will come on. Then flip the switch under the blue light to the cleaning cycle time you want (left for 1 hour and right for 2 hours). Then click the power button above. The red light will come on to indicate the start of the cleaning cycle. At the end of the cleaning cycle, the red light will go out.

For the 8STREME 5310 ROBOT SWIMMER, plug the transformer into the wall socket and the blue LED will light up. Then turn the switch to ON to start the cycle. The red light will come on to indicate the start of the cleaning cycle. At the end of the cleaning cycle, the red light will go out.

For the 8STREME 7310 ROBOT SWIMMER, plug the transformer into the wall socket, and the blue LED will light up. Then flip the switch on the side of the transformer to the right and click the power button above it. The red light will come on to indicate the start of the cleaning cycle. At the end of the cleaning cycle, the red light will go out.

For the ROBOT PISCINE 8STREME 7320, plug the transformer into the wall socket and the blue LED will light up. Then flip the switch on the side of the transformer to the cleaning cycle time you want (left for 1 hour and right for 3 hours). Then click the power button above. The red light will come on to indicate the start of the cleaning cycle. At the end of the cleaning cycle, the red light will go out.

The end of the cleaning cycle

1/ Stopping the ROBOT PISCINE 8STREME

Depending on how the ROBOT PISCINE 8STREME is programmed, the cleaning cycle may last 1, 2 or 3 hours. At the end of the cleaning cycle, the red light on the transformer will go out and the robot will stop automatically. So you don't have to monitor it or intervene manually to stop it.

Only the blue LED on the transformer will remain lit. In this case, to switch off the transformer, simply flip the switch on the side of the transformer to the left, then unplug the transformer from the wall socket. The blue light will go out after a few seconds.

It is not recommended to manually stop the ROBOT PISCINE 8STREME before the end of its cycle.

When the cleaning cycle is complete, wait a few minutes before removing the robot from the water to avoid temperature shock.

The 8STREME POOL ROBOT must be removed from the pool when not in use.

To take the 8STREME ROBOT SWIMMING POOL out of the water, simply lift it slowly and gently by the cable until you can grab it by the handle. Once in your hand, let the ROBOT empty itself of water.

Leave to dry in the open air, preferably in the shade.

2/ Cleaning the 8STREME ROBOT SWIMMING POOL

After each use, we recommend that you clean your ROBOT PISCINE 8STREME with clean water and dry it in the open air in the shade. We recommend that you also clean the inside and outside of the robot.

Exposure to moisture or sunlight could damage the 8STREME SWIMMING POOL ROBOT and its components.

The filter bag or basket should also be emptied and the fine filter cleaned.

3/ Storage of the 8STREME ROBOT SWIMMING POOL

Once completely dry, the 8STREME SWIMMING POOL ROBOT should be stored in a place protected from damp and direct sunlight.

Exposure to moisture or sunlight could damage the 8STREME ROBOT SWIMMING POOL and its components.
