My robot doesn't climb the walls or no longer does
My 8STREME POOL ROBOT doesn't climb walls? Doesn't climb the walls? Doesn't climb any more? It blocks against the wall? It doesn't climb all the way up the walls?
1/ Check the compatibility of the ROBOT POOL 8STREME 7310, 8STREME 7320 with your pool
Please check that your 8STREME ROBOT POOL is compatible with your model, type and lining of swimming pool.
Some surfaces are too slippery for the ROBOT PISICINE 8STREME 7310, 8STREME 7320 to climb on.
Please note that our 8STREME 7310 and 8STREME 7320 POOL ROBOTS do not climb stairs.
The robot is designed to go up to the water line from the side offering the most energetic brushing in order to clean the water line effectively. It is therefore normal to see it climb up to the water line from the side with the handle.
2/ Check your pool water treatment
Incorrect water treatment can affect the operation of your 8STREME 7310, 8STREME 7320 ROBOT POOL.
Check that your water is at the right temperature. This should be between 5 and 36°C.
We recommend that you check that your pH is at the right level. The optimum pH is between 7.2 and 7.4.
If you have a chlorine pool, the optimum chlorine content is between 2 and 3 ppm.
If you have a salt pool, the NaCl content should be between 2700 and 4500 ppm.
We invite you to check that there is no algae (green or transparent) in your pool. Our 8STREME s7310, 8STREME 7320 POOL ROBOTS are designed to make pool maintenance easier. However, they are not designed to clean algae. Please treat your pool before using the ROBOT PISCINE 8STREME 7310, 8STREME 7320.
Check that there are no greasy deposits on the walls. If so, use a hand brush to remove them.
3/ Check the power supply and electrical connection
If the 8STREME SWIMMING POOL ROBOT does not climb the walls, it is possible that there is no or insufficient power being transmitted to the SWIMMING POOL ROBOT.
We invite you to check that the transformer is working and that the cable connections are correct, watertight and inserted in the right direction.

We recommend that you check the condition of your connection plugs, to see if there are any signs of oxidation. If a plug is oxidised, replacement is highly recommended.
4/ Check that there are no foreign objects in the way of the ROBOT SWIMMING POOL.
When the ROBOT SWIMMING POOL 8STREME 7310, 8STREME 7320 do not climb the walls, it is possible that a foreign object will obstruct the movement of the ROBOT SWIMMING POOL 8STREME 7310, 8STREME 7320 .
Please check that there are no foreign objects in the turbine above the motor, in the brushes or belts under the robot and on the sides.
You should also check the condition of your robot's wheels, rollers, brushes and transmission belts.
Tiled floors can cause faster wear to brushes and drive belts. Please check this regularly.
If these are worn or broken, please replace them.
Check that the dirt collection basket is not full. If it is, empty and clean it.
We also invite you to check that the handle of the ROBOT PISCINE 8STREME 7310, 8STREME 7320 towards the rear. The electric cable must pass in front of the handle.
4/ Check that there are no foreign objects in the turbine above the robot.
If the turbine is clogged (hair, leaves or other debris), the flow rate will be reduced, which will have an impact on the robot's ability to climb walls (see instructions for cleaning the turbine).
5/ Check that the drain cover on the underside of the robot is in place and properly closed.
If the emptying hatch on the underside of the robot (see manual) is missing, damaged or no longer closing, the suction flow through the debris collection basket will be reduced. This will affect the robot's ability to climb walls.
