Turn the robot over and unscrew the two small screws on the two outer castors and remove the two castors.<\/p><p>Then remove the four screws holding the robot base and lift it out by pulling on both sides.<\/p><p>Once the base has been removed, unscrew the three screws holding the motor unit in place.<\/p><p>Turn the robot right side up, and unclip the motor grill on the top using a flathead screwdriver.<\/p><p>Open the cover and remove the motor unit by lifting it up and tilting it outwards.<\/p><p>Unscrew the black nut on the engine block using the engine key, then remove the floating cable from the engine block.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Keep all the parts to one side.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>To fit the new motor, plug the floating cable into the new motor unit and screw the black nut onto the motor using the motor key.<\/p><p>Replace the motor block in the robot and turn the robot upside down.<\/p><p>Tighten the three screws holding the motor unit in place.<\/p><p>Replace the base on the robot shell in the correct direction. Tighten the four screws holding the base to the robot shell.
